The Scholar Retention Program (SRP) is a campus initiative designed to support academically dismissed UCSB students in their pursuit of reinstatement to the university.
• Pell Grant/Cal Grant eligible students may receive a scholarship to cover the cost of tuition and fees for approved summer coursework.
• SRP students engage in meetings with designated advisors who guide them through the reinstatement process.
This course is designed for students who are experiencing difficult situations in their lives. INT 10 supports students and helps them learn how to navigate resources and support available.
• Introduce students to leaders from various support services and personnel on campus.
• Connect to appropriate support agencies, set immediate, intermediate, and long-term plans.
• Develop successful academic habits to manage their university life.
• Weekly meetings with a Time Management Associate (TMA).
